Per strip: folate 400 mcg DFE (240 mcg folic acid), 100% DV; iron 19 mg (as ferric saccharate), 106% DV.
Directions: Place one strip on your tongue and let it dissolve before swallowing. Take one strip a day, at any time. Do not take more than one strip a day.
Iron absorbs best away from coffee, tea and calcium, so leave an hour or two between them when you can.

Pullulan, cellulose, lecithin, raspberry flavor, monk fruit extract, citric acid, medium-chain triglycerides, xanthan gum, steviol glycosides.
Pullulan and cellulose form the strip. Raspberry flavor, monk fruit and stevia flavor and sweeten it, and citric acid adds tartness. Lecithin, MCT oil and xanthan gum keep it smooth and holding together.

I have already tried iron. What is different here?

Wellform uses ferric saccharate in a dissolving strip. That changes the form and removes the large pill from your daily step. If you have taken iron consistently and your ferritin remains low, review the dose and the reason for the low level with your clinician.
I came here because of hair shedding. Where does this fit?

If iron is part of the plan for your hair concerns, Wellform supplies 19 mg of iron in a daily strip. Check that serving against your existing plan. Results and timing vary with the reason for the shedding and your starting point.
Where does this fit if I have heavy periods?

A strip is a different way to take a daily serving of iron. Heavy bleeding can affect how much iron you need, so compare the 19 mg serving with your plan and have the bleeding assessed. The strip does not reduce menstrual bleeding.
How soon will I notice a difference?

Your starting point and iron plan affect how you respond. Follow the plan you have been given and reassess your iron levels when your clinician recommends. Changes in energy, ferritin and hair can happen on different schedules.
Can this replace an iron infusion?

Do not replace or delay a prescribed infusion with a supplement. Ask your clinician whether the strip fits any ongoing iron plan you have been given.
Can I take it with coffee, tea, calcium or medication?

Iron absorbs best away from coffee, tea and calcium, so leave an hour or two between them when you can. Some medicines, including thyroid medication and certain antibiotics, interact with iron. Ask your pharmacist how to time them.
I already take a multivitamin with iron. Can I take this too?

Can I take it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
